The 5th volume of Youjo Senki revealed back in January that an anime adaptation was emerging and things have been fairly quiet since. Now, the official site and Kadokawa have introduced a new 75-second promotional for it while showing that it’s full title is Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil. There’s no conversation with it available nor any information on the cast or staff but we do find some fantastic instrumental music that surely sets the tone for it.

The Enterbrain released series is written by Carlo Zen with illustrations from Shinotsuki Shinobu and began back in 2013. An audio drama came with the 3rd volume as well.

Plot idea: On the front lines of the war, there is a little girl. Blond hair, blue eyes, and porcelain white skin, she orders the army with lisping voice. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff. This little girl, who prioritizes effectiveness and her own carrier over everthing else, turns into the most dangerous being between the sorcerers of the imperial army.
